Jen’s Bio

Jen Mitskas is a former NSCAA All- American and collegiate soccer player who honed her skills under the legendary coach Anson Dorrance at UNC Chapel Hill. During her time at UNC, she was a proud member of two NCAA National championship teams and three ACC championship teams, achievements that have shaped her drive and determination. Following her soccer career, Jennifer transitioned into a successful sales career, where she has consistently applied the confidence and resilience she developed on the field. Jen is also a dedicated wife and mother of two young children, Greyson  9 and Raleigh 7, who are now embarking on their own soccer journeys.

Cassidy’s Bio

Weiss has several years’ experience coaching at various levels of the game. In addition to serving as the Sporting Administrator for the Girls Academy League, she is also a Technical Staff Coach at Fox Soccer Academy Carolinas. Prior to moving to the Carolinas, she worked at United Soccer Coaches serving youth clubs and providing coaching education as the Youth Programs Manager. Previously, she served as the assistant women’s soccer coach at two different NCAA Division I institutions, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and Florida International University. Prior to this, she was the graduate assistant coach at NCAA Division II institution Northern State University where she also obtained a Master’s degree in Sport Performance and Leadership. Weiss also has several years’ experience serving as both head coach and assistant coach at various clubs including, most recently, Pinecrest Premier Soccer Club, one of the newest member clubs of the Girls Academy. Weiss played soccer at St. Cloud State University at the NCAA Division II level and is a native of Madison, Wis.
