Girls Academy Director (Cincinnati United) – Cincinnati, OH

The Girls Academy Director provides leadership and clarity of direction fo the Cincinnati United Academy program(s), as well as implements strategy to ensure the Academy meets all goals and Key Performance Indicators set for the Academy Director by the CUP TD and CUP DoS.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a High-Performance Academy environment
  • Minimum of five (5) years coaching experience at Elite Youth Level
  • U.S. Soccer “B” License
  • Experience in leading a program and coaching staff
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Calendar

Girls Academy Head Coach (VSA Rush) – Ankeny, IA

This position requires becoming a part of the VSA Rush Girls Academy staff while coaching two teams in conjunction with additional responsibilities that would be conducive to the strengths of the coach. The coach must be organized, self-motivated and possess an extensive background in soccer. The Coach will report to the Girls DOC.

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

  • USSF National “B” License or working towards
  • 10 years playing experience in youth, college, or professional setting
  • 5 years coaching experience
  • Organized, motivated, and understands Youth Club structure
  • Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal

The Coach must be able to physically demonstrate the skills and techniques of soccer. He/She must be able to articulate and communicate conecpts and plans. The ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings and travel is necessary. The coach must be able to work as part of a team within VSA Rush, lead young women through the game of soccer, be able to contribute and follow a game model as decided by the Girls DOC. Office Manager (Metro ASA) – Alexandria, VA

Alexandria Soccer Association offers year round soccer and futsal programs for kids and adults of all abilities and ages. ASA’s front office staff of 20, along with 65+ staff coaches, make up a passionate, supportive and hard-working team. Our mission is to connect and engage the community through high quality, accessible, sports programs that positively impact Alexandria. ASA’s office is a busy, efficient, workspace, which is open to the public for in-person registration, meetings and more. We are looking for an Office Manager that is an energetic, efficient, problem solver with the ability to keep us organized and communicate effectively with our diverse community. The Office Manager is ASA’s lead administrator, reporting directly to the ASA Executive Team.

Office hours are 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday throughout the year. The Office Manager will be asked to provide administrative support on site for select special events and programming in the evenings and weekends.

ACADEMY COACH (Metro ASA) – Alexandria, VA

Academy (travel soccer) coaches are mentors, teachers and coaches to kids in the program. ASA focuses on wholistic development of every participant, considering mental, emotional and behavioral components beyond just soccer. Coaches provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment where kids are challenged, improve their soccer skills, build relationships with teammates and learn to grow. Academy coaches should foster teamwork, teach resiliency and humility and foster self confidence in all participants.

ASA provides in-house coaching education and will provide mentorship and guidance in executing club tactical curriculum and training activities. ASA is actively recruiting entry level coaches as well as experienced coaches ready for a higher level of competition. Academy teams play in a variety of leagues stemming from local leagues up through MLS Next and EDP National Leagues.

ACADEMY ASSISTANT COACH (Metro ASA) – Alexandria, VA

An Assistant Coach in ASA’s Academy program should embrace ASA’s core values, be a positive and strong role model, have a desire to learn and grow as a youth soccer coach, and have a passion for soccer.

Assistant Coaches will be paired with a head coach and team for a soccer season (3-4 months). The responsibilities and time commitment are dependent on the team and experience of the Assistant Coach and can be adjusted throughout the season. Our goal is to develop and train coaches who are confident and inspired to transition into head coach roles in the future.

COUNSELOR, AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING (Metro ASA) – Alexandria, VA

Alexandria Soccer is hosting after school programming for elementary, middle and high school students this spring and are looking for qualified candidates to join our staff. Programming will take place outdoors. Staff will be tasked with following a curriculum that provides a fun, engaging and active environment for students through the sport of soccer. Each staff member will work with a group of 10 to 15 students and support them through different stages of the session including a warm-up, skill building activity and games.

We are looking for candidates who are reliable, positive, enthusiastic, caring and supportive. No soccer experience required, experience teaching or working with kids is a plus. Candidates should have a willingness to learn and facilitate the soccer content and curriculum provided. Commitment can be for as many as 5 days per week or as few as 1 day per week. Payment is on a per session basis and is commensurate with experience.

VARIOUS COACHING POSITIONS (Bridge City Soccer Academy) – Portland, OR

Bridge City Soccer Academy  is seeking to hire experienced coaches for teams, technical clinics, camps, and more! Candidates interested in applying should have experience leading soccer training sessions for 10-15 players. We are looking for coaches that are excited to share their love for the game. Our BCSA coaches use the game of soccer as a vehicle to empower young women of all backgrounds to succeed as coaches, athletes and leaders in their communities. BCSA will provide you with curriculum and instruction on how to implement this curriculum.

Spring  trainings and clinics will start in February and run until mid-May (this position can lead to additional coaching opportunities for the next  2023-2024 year). We primarily train in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area. We are looking for coaches that are open to coaching 1-2 times per week. Schedule can be flexible.
