The Woodlands, Texas – Girls Academy top tier Frontier League clubs will come together November 14–15 for a league event focused on meaningful competition and player exposure.

The Girls Academy is excited to announce the inaugural Frontier Summit, bringing Girls Academy Top Tier Frontier League clubs together November 14–15 in The Woodlands, Texas, for a weekend of high-level competition and increased opportunities for players across the conference.

The first-ever event represents another step in the Girls Academy’s continued commitment to creating competitive experiences throughout the season. By bringing Frontier clubs together in a shared environment, the Summit provides teams with an opportunity to compete outside of their traditional schedules while creating additional exposure for clubs across the league.

“The Frontier Summit is exactly the type of experience we want to continue creating for our clubs and players,” said Girls Academy Commissioner Trish Hughes. “Bringing teams together for meaningful competition creates opportunities for our players to challenge themselves, gain additional exposure, and experience the strength of the Girls Academy beyond their regular league schedule.”

The inaugural Frontier Summit will feature several compelling matchups between clubs that experienced success on the national stage during the 2025–26 season.

Lou Fusz Gold’s U16 team enters the event following an impressive season in which its 2011 age group captured the U15 Champions Cup title and advanced to the national semifinals. The team will face RISE on November 14 before meeting San Antonio City on November 15.

HTX will also bring several nationally accomplished groups to the Summit. Its U14 roster features players from a 2013 group that finished as Champions Cup finalists and reached the national final four, along with a 2012 group that placed third at Champions Cup and advanced to the national quarterfinals.

Featured matchups throughout the weekend include RISE against Lou Fusz Gold at U16 and HTX against Tulsa SC at U17 on the morning of November 14, followed by HTX and Tulsa SC at U14 later that afternoon. Competition continues November 15 with HTX facing Oklahoma Celtic at both U14 and U17, while San Antonio City meets Lou Fusz Gold at U16.

Matches will be played across Gosling Sports Fields and Bear Branch Sports Fields in The Woodlands, creating a centralized venue for clubs, players, families, and coaches throughout the weekend.
