The Girls Academy (GA) is proud to announce that Meghan Frey is joining the GA in a full-time position, where she will serve as Sporting Director. In this role, Meghan will oversee and guide the sporting operations of the Girls Academy.

Meghan’s leadership, deep understanding of the youth soccer landscape, and unwavering commitment to player development make her the ideal candidate to step into this role,” said Patricia Hughes, Commissioner, Girls Academy. “Meghan has been a tremendous advocate for the young women we serve, guiding the league through key transitional moments with dedication and vision. Her experience will allow her to hit the ground running, and her influence will be felt immediately. Meghan is a tireless worker and a highly respected figure in the soccer community, and we are excited for the impact she will have in shaping the future of the Girls Academy.”
Meghan has an impressive and established resume spanning over 20 years as both a coach and a director in the youth soccer space. Most recently, Frey worked as the Executive Director of Long Island Soccer Club and served as Girls Academy Board President.
