RICHMOND, VA (July 13, 2025) — The 2024-25 Girls Academy season came to a thrilling close this past weekend as the nation’s top teams competed in the GA Finals, held July 10–13 at River City Sportsplex in Richmond, VA. The event brought together the eight best teams from the U14 through U17 age groups for a high-stakes battle to determine this year’s national champions. 

The four-day competition kicked off Thursday with quarterfinal matches across all age groups, followed by intense semifinal showdowns and consolation games on Friday. Sunday marked the grand finale, with championship matches and additional consolation games determining final placements. Each attending team played three games, offering all players the opportunity to compete at the highest level. 

Adding to the excitement of the weekend, Girls Academy hosted a Media Day for participating athletes. Players took part in professional photo and video shoots, interviews, and content creation opportunities designed to elevate their profiles and highlight the personalities behind the performances. The Media Day experience emphasized the GA’s commitment to both player development and visibility, giving athletes a platform to shine both on and off the field. 

This year’s GA Finals crowned six champions, each showcasing outstanding talent, teamwork, and determination:

  • U14 National Champions: Indy Premier

From technical brilliance to tactical discipline, these teams demonstrated what it takes to rise to the top in one of the most competitive girls’ soccer leagues in the country. Their achievements capped off months of preparation and performance in league play and playoffs. 

As the season officially wraps, the 2024-25 GA Finals once again proved to be a celebration of excellence, sportsmanship, and the future of the women’s game. With continued investment in both competition and exposure, the Girls Academy remains at the forefront of elite youth development in the U.S.
