CHARLOTTE (June 5, 2025) – The Girls Academy (GA) has officially released its 2025–2026 conference alignment, signaling not only a new season on the horizon but also the continued growth and evolution of one of the nation’s premier youth soccer platforms. With the addition of new clubs and increased competitive depth across its conferences, the league continues to strengthen its position as a leader in the development of elite female athletes.

In recent years, the Girls Academy has experienced remarkable expansion — both in scale and in the level of play. What began as a mission-driven organization to empower young women through sport has grown into a nationally recognized league that is reshaping the landscape of youth soccer in the United States.

The Girls Academy emphasized that this progress represents more than just the addition of teams or markets — it underscores a broader movement to elevate and invest in the women’s game. The Girls Academy remains steadfast in its commitment to providing a high-performance environment where female athletes can excel, while also promoting leadership, education, and holistic development.

“As we enter a new season, the continued growth and expansion of our league reflects the rising trajectory of women’s soccer on both a national and global scale” said Trish Hughes, Comissioner of the Girls Academy. “Our teams represent some of the most talented and dedicated young athletes in the nation, and the increasing level of competition speaks to the depth of talent emerging across the country. Being part of this movement—at a time when women’s soccer is breaking new ground in visibility, opportunity, and investment—is a tremendous privilege. This league is not only preparing players for the next level, whether collegiate or professional, but also contributing meaningfully to the future of the sport.”

As the 2025–2026 season approaches, the league looks to build on its momentum and continue setting the standard for youth development in the women’s game.

With its unwavering commitment to excellence and equity, the Girls Academy continues to play a vital role in empowering the next generation of female athletes — on the field and beyond.
