Girls Academy League (GAL) and Soccer Parenting announce a partnership agreement to make an impact on youth soccer across the United States. Soccer Parenting’s mission is to make youth soccer better. With emphasis on community, curriculum, and collaboration with partners like the Girls Academy League, Soccer Parenting carries out that mission by addressing sideline behavior and engaging, supporting, and educating youth soccer parents and coaches.
The Girls Academy and 114 of their member clubs will be provided access to courses through the Soccer Parenting Leaderboard program. These month-long friendly club vs. club competition focuses on the club with the highest completion rate as an effective way to encourage education and improve sideline behavior. Additionally, all clubs will receive a discounted rate to become a partner of Soccer Parenting.
Each year, 16,000 athletes compete in eleven conferences, making the Girls Academy League one of the largest girls’ soccer programs in the country. Leading the way in the development, Soccer Parenting aligns with the GA’s comprehensive program and the experience it provides their players. Highlighting the Girls Academy Advisory Panel, Soccer Parenting will host a two-part workshop for Girls Academy parents, Parenting a High Performance Athlete, alongside a mental performance expert.
“We are thrilled to align with Soccer Parenting, a partner whose commitment to inspiring a positive youth soccer environment aligns perfectly with our mission at the Girls Academy.” Said Girls Academy Commissioner, Patricia Hughes. “Together, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and positive sideline behavior that empowers players, parents, and coaches alike.
